'We need a Minister For Manufacturing' - Andrea Wilson on GB News

Manufacturers need a long term vision from Government to ensure current challenges are addressed, such as rising business and energy costs, and that strategies are put in place to fuel investment and support competition.

Andrea Wilson, Director of Hone-All and champion of the Support UK Manufacturing movement, discussed the issue on GB News.

Andrea says:

We are an industry that doesn't shout about ourselves enough!

So let’s be brave, let’s be loud and proud, and let’s keep shouting about the exciting, innovative, and invigorating industry we all know and love.

We want to see a better use of the support we have from our Government, and easier, fairer access to it.

But we won't get that without a Minister For Manufacturing and a voice for SMEs within senior Government. 

So our mission continues to get the Government to pay attention to our critical manufacturing industry.  A campaign to ensure they recognise and appreciate our £200bn contribution to the economy, and its need for a dedicated Minister for Manufacturing and all party agreed strategy for securing and promoting the UK Supply Chain.
